Annual Global Meeting of EMA Partners International, Johannesburg, 1-4 October 2009

The Annual Global Meeting of EMA Partners International took place in Johannesburg, South African Republic on 1-4th October 2009. Despite the world crisis, partners from across the Globe gathered at the exceptional Sandton Sun Hotel in Johannesburg to discuss the future of the organisation.  In difficult times, it is always better to have a partner to rely on, was the consolidating idea of the Forum. The meeting was focused on setting a new strategy of EMA Partners International. The guest speaker Clem Sunter, one of the world’s leading scenario planners, facilitated the undertaking of some extremely important decisions for the fate of the partnership.

As a new Chairman the delegates elected James Douglas from EMA Partners UK, one of the founding members of the association. Bjorn Ekestaf (EMA Partners Sweden) is our new Deputy Chairman.

In the evenings our host from EMA Partners South Africa introduced us to the delicious South African cuisine at some of the  finest restaurants in Johannesburg.
